Before you Travel

Passport & Visa Requirements

It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all immigration requirements have been met. Please ensure that each person in your party has a passport that is valid and does not expire within six months of your planned date of return. In addition, it is now a requirement of some countries that your passport has at least two facing pages clear of any stamps/visas. If you are unsure please contact our office and we will be pleased to advise you.

Travel Documents

Travel documentation is normally available 14 days before your departure. Documents will usually include transportation tickets together with vouchers for each element booked.

Special Requests

Any special requests that you may have must be notified at the time of booking. All `special requests' are treated as requests and are not guaranteed by this Company or our suppliers. Your request will be passed to the relevant supplier. Any applicable supplements relating to your special request must be paid directly to the supplier.

Airline regulations state that women 28 weeks or more into pregnancy on the date of return travel require a medical certificate of fitness before travel. Airlines will refuse travel for pregnancy of 32 weeks and beyond. Most insurers will also require medical certificates.

It is usually recommended that you take a small amount of local currency. Please notify your bank if you are planning to use your debit and credit cards overseas

Impaired Mobility

All airlines offer wheelchair assistance at the airport; however, some hotels are not suitable for passengers who rely on wheelchairs for mobility or have certain other disabilities. Please speak with one of our travel professionals to discuss your individual requirements.

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office can provide you with up-to-date travel advice to help you make informed decisions about travelling abroad.

Health Requirements

You should contact your GP or practice nurse for advice regarding travel vaccinations at least eight weeks before your departure date.

Travel Insurance

It is essential that both you and your travelling companions have adequate travel insurance. Please check that your policy is up to date and is valid. Please ensure that you include the policy details with your travel documents.

European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)

An EHIC entitles you to state healthcare in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. EHIC is free and can be applied for online. EHIC does not replace travel insurance

Advance Passenger Information (API)

We are required to collect and provide additional passenger details to government authorities for the purpose of border control. This relates to information contained in your passport, flight information and, for passengers travelling to the United States of America, the address of your first night.

Failure to provide this information may result in your being delayed at the airport and/or refused travel.

Please provide a copy of your passport or alternatively bring your passport to our store in order for a copy to be made.
