The aptly named Sunshine Coast has one of the highest sunshine readings in the world, averaging seven hours a day. There is little variation between the summer and winter months, with average temperatures in summer, between December and February, ranging from 63°F to 82°F (17°C to 28°C). The spring and autumn seasons are mild and pleasant on the Sunshine Coast. Winters are cool and mild with average temperatures ranging from 55°F to 77°F (13°C to 25°C).
